   These choices are interrelated and must work together.

Improvement

Whether problem solving or continually improving the Deming Wheel guides your action.

You will often see the Wheel described as Plan-Do-Study-Act. I take an idea from Honda’s CAPD improvement cycle.

I start the Deming Wheel at Study giving Study-Act-Pan-Do, so my name for the Wheel is SAPDo.

My reasoning is, before you can effectively plan you have to understand the situation.
